Berea Baptist Church offers Children’s Sunday School classes for 3 and 4 year olds, 5 and 6 year olds, 7, 8 and 9 year olds, and preteens. All classes teach a Bible based curriculum involving story time and crafts when possible.
Berea Baptist Children’s Church offers an atmosphere for young spiritual growth that runs parallel to our preaching service. Children learn more about the Bible and worship Jesus in their own special way.
Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Berea Baptist Church hosts an Awana Club program with trained leaders that provide a positive, loving environment for the young people of the church to learn about the Lord, salvation and the Bible. There are Awana programs for every age group:
Puggles – ages 2 and 3. The youngest group, Puggles® recognizes the learning ability of 2- and 3-year olds by introducing biblical precepts at church and equipping parents to teach them at home.
Cubbies - Preschool. Cubbies® celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word.
Sparks – K to 2nd Grade. Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
Truth & Training – Grades 3 – 6. T&T engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace.
Trek – Middle School. Trek® challenges middle-school students to consider their destiny in Christ and pursue it through life application of God's Word.
Journey – High School. Our high-school program, Journey, features an energetic look, biblically based content, life application and an emphasis on Scripture memory.

Berea’s Awana Club is held on Sunday nights. Kids are rewarded for their hard work throughout the year and at the end of the Awana term. Awanas usually follows the local school schedule and is out for the summer and holidays.
Berea Baptist teens hold worship services parallel to regular services on Wednesday nights. Regularly scheduled activities, events and youth conference trips promote bonding and support the youth to encourage their peers to live for Christ.
